JoBeth was a non-traditional student growing up in a small town in North Central Louisiana. When she met her husband she was a nanny and a massage therapist and then became a stay-at-home Mom until her children were both in school. She then decided she needed and wanted more. Returning to school, she pursued medicine and received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Louisiana Tech University. Her medical degree was earned at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and she completed residency in Family Medicine at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Falling in love with the Texoma community from her first visit, she moved to the area in 2017 and decided to make it home. It’s one of the friendliest communities she knows of. Unique work experiences allow her to provide comprehensive family care including urgent care. She’s spent the last three years in a hybrid position as emergency medicine physician and hospitalist, and continued as an adjunct faculty/community preceptor for Texoma Medical Center Family Medicine residents.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children (now 20 and 17 years old), swimming, and reading. She looks forward to serving you and your family.
